Local First Program

At Pennian Bank, we are committed to supporting organizations that make our communities a better place to live and work. That’s why we created the Local First Program, which encourages support of local organizations from friends and neighbors.

To be eligible, the organization must be a nonprofit with a 501(c)IRS status maintaining an address in Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, Dauphin, Snyder, Northumberland, Union, Centre, Adams, Huntington, Franklin, York, Lancaster or Lebanon County. The organization must have a checking or savings account with Pennian Bank. Once the organization has a minimum of 20 supporters, Pennian Bank will make quarterly donations based off a percentage of the average balance in the supporters’ accounts. As the accounts and balances grow, so do the donations!

Supporters

The Local First Program offers Pennian Bank customers a no-cost way to support your favorite local organization. Individuals and businesses can designate one eligible account to any participating organization. The program is completely confidential and no money is EVER taken out of your account. Donations come directly from Pennian Bank.
