Doing your banking online isn’t a new concept. In fact, most
banks and financial institutions have offered ways for customers to do their
banking online for years. However, the platform banks use to provide this
service can have a big impact on the user experience, as well as what features can

During the COVID pandemic, those who traditionally visited a
branch to do their banking, switched to online systems out of both convenience
and necessity. Because of this, usage of digital banking has soared since 2020.
With this in mind, we at Pennian Bank made the decision to upgrade the digital
banking experience for our customers by investing in the latest technology.
Our new digital banking, launching March 9, 2022, will
provide a unified experience for our customers. Whether you are on your
computer or smartphone, your online banking experience will look the same on
all devices. Enhanced features, such as Financial Tools, gives you the ability
to look at your spending, debts and create a budget. You can even categorize
purchases to track where you money is being spent.
Of course, all of your favorite features will still be
there, such as:
- Mobile deposit – Deposit checks right from your smart phone, just by taking a photo.
- Bill payment – Our iPay bill payment system saves you postage by allowing you to pay your bills online, quickly and easily.
- Funds transfer – Move money from one Pennian account to another or from your Pennian account to an external bank account.
- Customization – Customize your screen with the ability to nickname your accounts and move them around.
To get ready for this switch, Pennian customers should make
sure their contact information on file is up-to-date. We will use this
information to send you Secure Access Codes for first-time logins. This feature
adds an extra layer of security to give you peace of mind that your account is
safe.
